Introducing ‘Pulpy’
The World’s First
Sugarcane Fibre Display Bin
Patent Pending: No. 2022200675
GO-ECO’s™ dedication to eco-centric sustainable display and packaging design, has given birth to the world’s first sugarcane fibre display - 'Pulpy'.
Pulpy’s unique patented design utilises modular shelf trays moulded from all natural Sugarcane Fibre Pulp called 'Bagasse'. These moulded pulp trays are then stacked and supported by the interlocking of kraftboard poles made from 100% recycled material.
This unique design results in a ‘tree friendly’ display that is visually appealing, practical, easy to use and provides an abundance of sustainable eco-responsible benefits.
What is Sugarcane Bagasse?
Bagasse is the natural, fibrous by-product of the sugar production process. Typically 30-34 tonnes of Bagasse remains for every 100 tonnes of sugarcane processed, with over 54 million tonnes being produced globally each year.

Why Sugarcane Bagasse?

Sugarcane is a tree-free, highly renewable resource. Left un-used, the Bagasse by-product is often burnt as fuel or left to decompose.
More and more we are seeing companies utilise this great resource as an alternative to plastic, paper or foam products in takeaway foodservice and consumer protective packaging.
Go-Eco™ is the first company to design a way to utilise this plentiful by-product at the point of sale. 'Pulpy' - a world first.
But the environmental benefits don’t just end there.
Benefits of our ‘Pulpy’ Display:
'Pulpy’s' moulded trays and poles can be easily recycled with all your other standard paper recycling.
100%
Recyclable
Sugarcane is a fast growing, highly renewable and widely available resource, and there for does not require the felling of any trees. Also, only 1500kg of Bagasse is required to make 1000kg of pulp, v 5000kg of wood to make the same amount.
Highly Renewable
Tree-Friendly
Resource
'Pulpy' is made entirely of moulded sugar cane pulp and recycled kraft board. Even though the trays look and act somewhat like a plastic tray there are no plastics at all in the 'Pulpy' display. Also, moulding bagasse requires less energy than moulding plastic.
100%
Plastic Free
100%
Compostable & Biodegradable
'Pulpy’s' moulded trays are compostable, being able to bio-degrade within 30-90 days in composting conditions. Because they are plant based they also add natural nutrients back into the soil.
Reduced
Carbon Footprint
During the growth of the sugar cane, atmospheric carbon is absorbed by the plant and converted to biomasse. As carbon dioxide is the most abundant constituent of GHGs, sugarcane crop plays an important role in purifying the air and reducing overall carbon footprint.
Compact &
Easy Modular Assembly
Not only is 'Pulpy' good for the environment, it is compact and easy to assemble. Each Pulpy is compactly packed with nested trays and support poles. Simply stack the trays one on the other by firmly inserting the support poles and 'Pulpy' is ready to display.
'Pulpy' your way:
‘Pulpy’s’ interlocking shelf system gives you the flexibility to create displays of varying heights. ‘Pulpy’ can also be dressed up with various header styles, side cards, shelf strips and custom colour options.
